9 May is Europe Day, providing a perfect opportunity to reflect on the strong connections that bind us as Europeans. The EU has played an active role in helping Europeans to get connected by funding the installation of WiFi4EU hotspots, which have brought free and fast Wi-Fi connectivity to 8,802 towns and villages across the continent.
Thanks to WiFi4EU, people can now enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi access in various public spaces, including parks, squares, public buildings, libraries, and museums in towns, villages, and cities.
WiFi4EU hotspots are:
✅ free of charge,
✅ free of data harvesting, and
✅ free of advertisements.
