Description

Join us on 10 October from 9 to 17 CEST to discuss 5G corridors in Europe!
The GUIDE project, with the support of HaDEA and DG CNECT, is inviting CEF Digital 5G corridors projects and relevant stakeholders such as, mobile network operators, tower companies, representatives of original equipment manufacturers, rail, road, waterways infrastructure operators and managers, and national authorities to meet in Brussels.
This event has three objectives: to review both 5G Strategic Deployment Agendas published in 2020 in the fields of rail and road, to provide guidance on 5G corridor deployment efforts from the public and private sectors and to stimulate creation of an EU-funded projects pipeline.
During the event, representatives from DG CNECT and HaDEA will provide information about 5G Corridors perspective in Europe, and the third call for proposals that will open from October 2023 to February 2023.
Panellists, including representatives from the GUIDE Advisory Board and national authorities will provide their views on cross-border deployment. Projects coordinators will share their experiences and lessons learnt from studies to deployment.
To end the discussions, potential applicants will make brokerage pitches, with the view to foster a dynamic exchange of ideas for future deployment projects. The workshop will take a participatory approach, whereby stakeholders involved in Call 1 and possibly forthcoming Call 2 projects, as well as other potential participants in future waves of deployment and the supporting public authorities can exchange ideas, insights and help build a community around 5G-CAM to move forward with deployment of 5G Corridors. Specifically, the workshop will facilitate match-making discussions and encourage the involvement of relevant players in future calls.
