Web Summit 2025

Web Summit 2025 will take place from 11 to 13 November in Lisbon, Portugal. As one of the world’s largest technology conferences, Web Summit brings together tens of thousands of investors, partners, leaders, and experts to explore the latest developments and the future of technology. 

On 11 November, from 14.30 to 15.15, HaDEA will host a workshop in Masterclass Room 3 titled “Investing in future technologies: How to get EU funding for your project?”. Speakers will include HaDEA Director Marina Zanchi, Head of Unit Silke Obst, and representatives from four HaDEA-managed projects: 

• Ricardo Jorge Bessa (AI4REALNET): AI4REALNET is developing decision-making methods for critical infrastructures that combine trustworthy AI-assisted human control, augmented cognition, human-AI co-learning, and autonomous AI. 

• Italo Mattia Spada (OpenDBL): openDBL has developed digital building logbook platform that integrates state of-the art technologies.

• Christina Balla (FIERCE): FIERCE will support SMEs with grants and with free services to help them unlock the potential of downstream space data for their business.

• Jamilia Arykbaeva (RadioVal): RadioVal is one of the first projects to perform a comprehensive clinical validation of AI-based breast cancer treatment planning in real-world practice.

Throughout the event, HaDEA's representatives will be present at the booth E326 in Pavilion 3 presenting EU funding programmes and results of the funded projects.
