2026 Horizon Europe 'Health' calls for proposals

The European Commission has published the 2026 Horizon Europe ‘Health’ calls for proposals. Interested applicants are invited to check the EU Funding and Tenders Portal for more information and to apply by 16 April 2026, 17:00 (CET)

  • HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-03: Integrating New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to advance biomedical research and regulatory testing
  • HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-05: Pilot actions for follow-on funding: Leveraging EU-funded collaborative research in regenerative medicine
  • HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-06: Support to European Research Area (ERA) action on accelerating New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to advance biomedical research and testing of medicinal products and medical devices
  • HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-07: Establishing a European network of Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products (ATMPs)

Background

Horizon Europe is the research and innovation programme of the EU for the period 2021-2027. The aims of Cluster 1 ‘Health’ include improving and protecting the health and well-being of citizens of all ages by generating new knowledge, developing innovative solutions and integrating where relevant a gender perspective to prevent, diagnose, monitor, treat and cure diseases.
