HaDEA has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for a call for tenders to be funded under the 2024 EU4Health Annual Work Programme.
Interested parties are invited to consult the Funding and Tenders Portal for the possible publication of the contract notice and tender documents in August 2024.
HADEA/2024/OP/0027-PIN: Exploratory study on the provision of care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients in the Union
This call for tenders will fund a study to map the provision of healthcare for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients and people with a history of cancer in all EU countries.
Based on the evidence collected, the study will document and analyse the major barriers and enabling factors for the design and provision of quality care before, during and after cancer treatment, but also highlight best practices and innovative approaches.
Recommendations for future actions directed at EU countries will be developed by the contractor, including relevant strategies to improve the provision of targeted healthcare to AYA cancer patients and survivors.
Estimated budget: €1 000 000
Background
EU4Health is the fourth and largest of the EU health programmes. The EU4Health programme goes beyond an ambitious response to the COVID-19 crisis to address the resilience of European healthcare systems. The programme provides funding to national authorities, health organisations and other bodies through grants and public procurement, contributing to a healthier Europe.
HaDEA manages the vast majority of the total EU4Health budget and implements the programme by managing calls for proposals and tenders from 2021 to 2027.
