COLLABS developed state-of-the-art technologies to counter the cybersecurity threats when using Artificial intelligence in the industry and manufacturing sectors. It has created secured multi-party computation and homomorphic encryption, as well as distributed deep learning and anomaly detection. COLLABS generated industrial and societal opportunities of collaborative manufacturing by validating and demonstrating its framework on three real-world use cases coming from complementary Industry 4.0 manufacturing domains.

MAS4AI is setting out a system that allows the deployment and synchronisation of different AI agents in manufacturing for autonomous modular production and human assistance. The project is optimising manufacturing costs and adapting tools and parameters by incorporating AI technologies, as the digitalisation of European industry with artificial intelligence (AI) tools is paving the way for Industry 4.0.

QU4LITY aimed to establish an SME-friendly, highly transformative, shared data-driven, and zero-defect manufacturing product model. The project introduced an autonomous quality model to meet the industry 4.0 Zero Defect Manufacturing challenges, promoting the use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Data Intelligence to strive for Zero X Manufacturing Environments, and showcasing how the European industry can develop novel strategies and methods that use zero-defect manufacturing technologies.

AI REGIO aims to consolidate the collaboration in the pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) by enhancing the offering of regional DIHs to manufacturing SMEs on three levels: policy impact, technological impact, and business impact. It is currently at the 4th phase of consolidating the collaboration in the pan-European Network of DIHs with a final event in September.
