HaDEA has signed three service contracts under the Better Training for Safer Food initiative

HaDEA has signed three service contracts for the organisation and implementation of training activities under the ‘Better Training for Safer Food’ initiative (BTSF) of the European Union.

HADEA/2022/OP/0013 - Service Contract for the Organisation and Implementation of Training Activities on EU Trade Control and Expert System (TRACES) under the ‘Better Training for Safer Food’ Initiative

The service contract has been awarded to a group of economic operators, namely Application Européenne de Technologies et de Services (France) and Network Research Belgium SA (Belgium). The contractors are expected to organise and implement e-learning training activities on the EU Trade Control and Expert System (TRACES) platform for EU and non-EU officials.

HADEA/2022/OP/0015 - Service Contract for the Organisation and Implementation of Training Activities on National Audit Systems and Internal Auditing under the ‘Better Training for Safer Food’ Initiative

The service contract has been awarded to AENOR Internacional SA from Spain. The contractor will organise and implement e-learning, face-to-face and virtual classroom training activities directed to EU officials on national audit systems and internal auditing under the BTSF initiative.

HADEA/2022/OP/0016 - Service Contract for the Organisation and Implementation of Training Activities on Production and Trade of Bivalve Molluscs within and into the EU under the ‘Better Training for Safer Food’ Initiative

The service contract has been awarded to a group of economic operators, namely Société pour l’hydraulique, l’environnement et la réhabilitation SA (Belgium), Istituto Zooprofilattico sperimentale delle Venezie (Italy) and European E-learning Institute ApS (Denmark). The contractors are expected to organise and implement e-learning, face-to-face and virtual classroom training activities on the production and trade of bivalve molluscs under the BTSF initiative.

Background information

The EU Single Market Programme brings together the Union actions in the fields of competitiveness of enterprises, especially SMEs, consumer protection, customers and end-users in financial services, policymaking in financial services and in the plant, animal, food and feed areas.

The BTSF Initiative is a training initiative of the European Commission, which has the objective to improve the knowledge and implementation of EU rules covering food safety and plant and animal health.
