World Space Week, held annually from 4 to 10 October, is an international celebration of space science and technology. This year, the chosen theme is “Living in Space.” Discover three HaDEA-managed projects that are contributing to this goal.

The call HORIZON-CL4-2025-02 (SPACE-HADEA), part of Horizon Europe Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space (Destination 5), closed on 25 September 2025. A total of 93 proposals have been submitted.

ESA’s Themis reusable rocket demonstrator is ready at Esrange. Developed by ArianeGroup under the HaDEA-managed SALTO project, it enters final tests. A HaDEA visit to the site highlighted Europe’s push for innovation and autonomy in space transportation.

Mauve marks a transformative milestone in European space science as the continent’s first dedicated satellite mission to study stellar flares and their influence on the habitability of exoplanets.
