Prior information notice on a tender for a study to assess the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors

HaDEA has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for a call for tenders to be funded under the EU4Health 2023 Annual Work Programme.

HADEA/2023/OP/0038 - PIN ‘’Study on the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors’’

The subject of this call for tenders is to conduct research on common measures and indicators that can be used to monitor the level of cancer patients’ and survivors' progress on quality of life across EU countries, Iceland and Norway. The study will report and examine the major inequalities detected across countries and how these are addressed. The contractor will also draft a set of recommendations on strategies to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and persons with a history of cancer, to reduce inequalities across countries and to improve data collection.

Background

EU4Health, with a budget of €5.3 billion, is the fourth and largest of the EU health programmes. The EU4Health programme goes beyond an ambitious response to the COVID-19 crisis to address the resilience of European healthcare systems. The programme provides funding to national authorities, health organisations and other bodies through grants and public procurement, contributing to a healthier Europe.

HaDEA manages the vast majority of the total EU4Health budget and implements the programme by managing calls for proposals and tenders from 2021 to 2027.
