Horizon Europe Cluster 4 – Digital aims to deliver on a green and digital transformation, increasing digital capacities and developing human-centred and ethical digital technologies.    

HaDEA manages scientific projects under the following destinations:

  • Resilient Industry
  • Digital and Emerging Technologies
  • Human-centred and Ethical digital technologies

With 40% of its budget devoted to making Europe more sustainable, this Horizon Europe work programme will make Europe greener and fitter for the digital transformation. Horizon Europe is now fully open for business

HaDEA is implementing the research and innovation topics in the Digital sub-cluster of Horizon Europe Cluster 4, ‘Digital, Industry and Space’.

Within the Digital sub cluster, HaDEA manages:

Destination 1

Climate neutral, circular and digitised production, coordinating the calls on ‘Twin Green and Digital Transition 2021-2023’. The projects under this destination contribute to the European global leadership in clean and climate-neutral digital systems and infrastructures (networks, data centres).

Destination 2
Increased autonomy in key strategic value chains for resilient industry, coordinating the calls on ‘a Digitised, Resource-efficient and Resilient industry 2021-2023’. The projects under this destination contribute to the industrial leadership and increased autonomy in key strategic value chains with security of supply in raw materials.
Destination 4
Digital and emerging technologies for competitiveness and fit for the green deal, supporting the calls on Digital and emerging topics.
Destination 6
A human-centred and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies, supporting the calls on the Human topics.
