The Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) published the prior information notices for four open calls for tenders launched under the EU4 Health programme.

With an overall budget of EUR 42 million, these tenders will fund key activities in the field of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and flexible manufacturing of medical countermeasures and access to COVID-19 therapeutics. These actions will explore a number of solutions that could serve as a blueprint for future HERA functions and provide indications on the added value of its interventions and possible areas for improvement.

The invitation to tender, together with tender documents, will be available to interested economic operators in August 2021 in the EU Tenders Electronic Daily, with a tentative deadline for submission of offers set to October 15 2021. The prior information notices for these tenders are available here: HaDEA/05, HaDEA/06HaDEA/07HaDEA/08

These tenders come in addition to a separate call for tender for EUR 13 million on Intelligence Gathering,Threat Assessment and Global Surveillance: this call was published by DG SANTE on July 12 and is still open until September 6 (tender documents are available here.)

If the calls are successful, contracts can be signed still in 2021.
