The COP27 session “Innovation to serve enhanced circularity” took place virtually on 11 November 2022, featuring HaDEA’s project CIRPASS and highlighting their concept of Digital Product Passport as an innovative initiative with numerous benefits.
The Digital Product Passport is a product data and a lifecycle information management tool designed to propose the exchange of information between the stakeholders (manufacturers, suppliers, recyclers, regulators, consumers, etc.) of the circular economy.
The goal of the project is to move towards gaining a wider consensus on the standards needed to design the DPP system, focusing on three sectors (batteries, electronics, and textile). The coordinator of the session welcomed similar initiatives to connect with CIRPASS.
The recording of the session is now available.
