HaDEA is co-organising a physical session on Horizon 2020 Technology Success Stories at the “Raw Materials Week” on 14 November 2022. Discover HaDEA’s projects taking part in the session and register for the event.
A wide range of stakeholders will attend European Commission's annual cluster of dedicated to policies and initiatives in the field of raw materials. This year some sessions will be organised in-person at the Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels.
The session “EU Horizon technology success stories” is co-organised by HaDEA, in collaboration with DG GROW, and it will take place at Le Plaza Hotel on 14 November at 10:00.
The aim of this event goes beyond informing about the progress of the selected projects. The objective is to highlight how activities in the area of raw materials will benefit from project developments, or in broader terms, how industry and society benefit from EU research funding.
Nine projects funded under the Horizon 2020 programme that are bringing tangible advancement in the area of raw materials will highlight their contributions in the raw materials sector, clustered in the following thematic sessions:
Raw Materials for ICT and Robotics:
Raw Materials for batteries and permanent magnets:
The event will end with a panel discussion on the role of EU funding in bringing technological innovations in the area of raw materials to market deployment.
Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €95.5 billion. It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. HaDEA implements parts of Horizon Europe Clusters 1 (Health) and 4 (Digital, Industry, and Space). It was preceded by Horizon 2020.
