On World Mental Health Day, we spotlight some examples of EU-funded health research projects that aim at improving mental and brain health through personalised and data-driven approaches.

The Brain Innovation Days 2025 are taking place on 15-16 October in Brussels. This fifth edition will welcome two projects funded under the Horizon Europe ‘Health’ programme and managed by HaDEA that are contributing to improving the mental health and wellbeing of EU citizens.

26 September is annually observed as World Environmental Health Day, raising awareness of the impact of environmental hazards on human health. Two EU-funded project clusters, EHEN and CUSP, are at the forefront of EU research on the effects of environmental exposures on our bodies.
