CEF Digital Info Day: Recording and presentations available

On 26 October 2023, HaDEA organised  a virtual info session on the 3rd call for proposals launched under the digital strand of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme.

Speakers from the European Commission’s Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (CONNECT) and the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) presented in detail the call topics, the evaluation steps, and the grant award process.

Over €240 million are available for co-funding to deploy digital networks in the following areas:

• 5G coverage along transport corridors (roads, rail, waterways) with €100 million
• 5G and Edge Cloud for Smart Communities with €51 million
• Backbone connectivity for Digital Global Gateways (submarine cables, satellite ground infrastructure) with €90 million.
