HaDEA implements the EU4Health programme by managing calls for proposals and tenders from 2021 to 2027. The programme and its calls represent an ambitious response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but go beyond crisis response to address the resilience of European healthcare systems and contribute to a healthier Europe.

Under the EU4Health programme, HaDEA managed the Joint Action UNITED4Surveillance, which improved the surveillance, prevention and control of infectious diseases across the EU/EEA.

On the occasion of World Field Epidemiology Day, we focus on relevant initiatives managed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

The EU4Health project CHIP-AML22 is working to improve treatment outcomes for children with AML by advancing targeted treatments that reduce the level of toxicity and guarantee more equal outcomes across Europe.

Three new contracts signed by HaDEA will support the actions of the European Commission's Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (DG HERA) to respond to ongoing virus outbreaks.
